About Central Business District Sydney

The central business district of Sydney is a main draw for visitors to the city. It is easy for visitors to find due to the large concentration of skyscrapers in the region, in addition to various parks including Hyde Park or the Royal Botanic Gardens. One of the historic neighborhoods in this region can be found on Macquarie, on which visitors can find several government buildings, including the parliament house and the courthouse.

This region traces its history back to the time when British settlers first set food in Australia. It is located just three kilometers from the point of European entry, known as Sydney Cove. It is bordered by the Circular Quay, the Central railway station, and the various harbors of the city including Sydney Harbour and Darling Harbour.
